Aftermarket Steering Wheel for Yamaha Rhino
I really liked my OEM 13.5" special edition steering wheel, but I wanted something better. After browsing the net for quite sometime I found a nice steering wheel at SuperATV.com. It's a 14" Grey/Carbon fiber look steering wheel with a flat bottom like the F1 race cars. The gray matches my gray Rhino seats perfectly. The carbon fiber look on it matches some of my switches also. Keep in mind a custom adapter is needed to attach most aftermarket steering wheels to a Rhino. It is the billet thing in the pictures. This was included in my purchase but can be picked up separately for around $40.00. The adapter I got with my wheel was very high quality and looks really nice.

The factory steering wheel was a pain to get off but with some pounding and yanking it finally came off. I assembled the wheel and adapter and put the wheel on the Rhino. Remember to align the wheel by marking the steering column, then lining up the new wheel with that mark or you will have a crooked wheel when you are going straight like I did. I thought I could eyeball it, yeah right!

After driving about 100 feet with the new slightly larger wheel I knew it was awesome. The Rhino's interior looks so good now. A new steering wheel really finishes off that custom look I have wanted for so long. The Rhino is much easier to steer and the steering wheel does not get ripped out of my hand as much now. The horn button can be hooked up but I really don't want wires twisting around my steering column.

If you want that custom look and that good wheel feeling this upgrade is a must. It makes the Rhino easier to drive in my opinion. This custom steering wheel will fit the Yamaha Rhino 450 660 and 700.

Update: The stock Rhino wheel is made to hold weight of a person using it for leverage in off road situations. Aftermarket steering wheels are not. So if you do decide to install an aftermarket steering wheel for your Rhino, check and see if you can flex or bend it. A Rhino rider I know hit something and he wrapped his aftermarket steering wheel around the steering column like a taco. The steering wheel pictured/reviewed is kinda flexible too. In a crash it would just bend and be of little or no help to hold on to.
